Welcome! My name is Mary, and I enjoy teaching and, as you can see, coffee. I started teaching elementary school in 1992, and have taught every age, and many special populations since. I can’t imagine not teaching because it is such a part of my fabric.
Children come in all kinds of packages, and it’s my joy to figure each young person out, and to know what makes them tic. Teaching is a very human experience full of every emotion, so lifelong connections are made when you spend your days with the active, curious children.
Attending Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology was a thrill for me, and I gleaned so much from the learning experience, the supportive professors, and my precocious, marvelous cohort. So, feel free to pour a cup of joe, and and use the toolbar above to peruse my Educational Leadership Academy portfolio.
